KARACHI (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / NNI - 11th February, 2019) A three-member delegation of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) met President Arif Alvi in Karachi.Amir Khan, Faisal Sabzwari and Kanwar Naveed Jameel called on the president.
Sindh Governor Imran Ismail was also present on the occasion.
Undergoing development projects, working relationship with Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and several other matters were discussed during the meeting.President and Governor assured MQM-P delegation of removing their reservations.Sources have revealed that MQM-P members have demanded chairmanship of two standing committees IN National Assembly.Discussion was also held over the written agreement between both the parties.It was said in the meeting that MQM-P will attend the meetings of standing committees once their reservations have been eliminated.
