Muhammad Afzal Gul of PML-N wins PP-248 election

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Jul, 2018 ) :Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) candidate Muhammad Afzal Gul has won election from Punjab Assembly constituency PP-248 Bahawalpur-IV by securing 48,829 votes.

According to unofficial results announced by the Election Commission of Pakistan, Independent candidate Khalil Ahmed stood second by securing 34,693 votes and Syed Ali Zain Bukhari of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf grabbed third position by getting 31,855 votes.

Voter turnout was recorded at 59.22%.
