Murderer Awarded Death Sentence In Sargodha

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Feb, 2018 ) :Additional Session Judge Rana Zahid Iqbal Khan on Tuesday awarded death sentence to a murderer, accused in a case of Atta Shaheed police station.

Court sources said that on April 15, 2016 accused Omar Hayat,resident of chak 50/NB, along with his accomplice including Imam Bukhsh and Iqbal had murdered their opponent Muhammad Riaz over enmity.

Local police have registered a case against the accused and presented challans in the court for trial.

After the arguments, the court awarded death sentence to culprit Omer Hayat along with a fine of Rs 500,000 as compensation money. The court acquitted the other two co-accused Imam Bukhsh and Iqbal over advantage of doubt. The culprits were shifted to district jail Sargodha.
