Murderer Sentenced To Life Imprisonment, Accomplice Gets Ten Yezears Jail

ATTOCK, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Jul, 2024) An Attock sessions court on Thursday sentenced a man to life imprisonment and a fine of Rs 3 lakh for the murder, while his accomplice was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
According to DPO Office, the incident occurred when Zulfikar Ahmed shot and killed Waqar Shah while Saqib Ali shot and injured Ali Asghar.
Attock Police Inspector Azmat Hayat investigated the case and presented strong evidence against both accused.
Additional Sessions Judge Zafar Iqbal Sial, impressed by the police's investigation found Zulfikar Ahmed guilty of murder and Saqib Ali guilty of attempted murder.
District Police Officer Dr. Sardar Ghiyas Gul Khan commended the Attock Police for their efforts in combating crime and securing convictions in serious cases.
