Muslim Woman Asks Indian SC To Allow Females To Enter Mosques For Prayers

According to media reports, the Indian Supreme Court is considering the option as it accepted a petition from a Muslim couple to allow women into mosques.
LAHORE- (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News- 16th March 2019) Women are likely to be allowed to go to mosques for offering prayers in India.
According to media reports, the Supreme Court is considering the option as it accepted a petition from a Muslim couple to allow women into mosques.
If allowed, it will be the abolition of the centuries-old culture of worship in islam.
Media reports say women are not allowed inside most mosques in India, although a few have separate entrances for women to go into segregated areas.
An international news agency reported that the petitioners, Yasmeen Peerzade and her husband Zuber Peerzade, said that women were allowed to enter mosques during the time of the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH). India’s apex court admitted the application for hearing.
