Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal Pakistan candidate Moulana Abdul Akbar Chitrali has won NA-1 with 48616 votes.
Chitral (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal Pakistan candidate Moulana Abdul Akbar Chitrali has won NA-1 with 48616 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal Pakistan candidate won in NA-1 Chitral constituency with 48616 votes.
In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Imran Khan was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 90500 votes. The second runner up was Awami National Party candidate Alhaaj Ghulam Ahmad Bilour who got 24468 votes.
At least 18 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in NA-1. In 2013 elections, there were 320578 voters registered in NA-1, out of which 146044 votes were polled out.
In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 46.18 %. Detailed results can be found here
