Faisalabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Independent candidate Muhammad Asim Nazir has won NA-101 with 147812 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Independent candidate won in NA-101 Faisalabad-l constituency with 147812 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Justice R Iftikhar Ahmad Cheema was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 99924 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Muslim League (J) candidate Muhammad Ahmad Chatha who got 60795 votes.

At least 17 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in NA-101. In 2013 elections, there were 352057 voters registered in NA-101, out of which 203681 votes were polled out.
