According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate won in NA-162 Vehari-l constituency with 81956 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate RAI HASAN NAWAZ KHAN was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 88974 votes. The second runner up was Independent candidate HAJI MUHAMMAD AYUB who got 75756 votes.

At least 11 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in NA-162. In 2013 elections, there were 306359 voters registered in NA-162, out of which 182742 votes were polled out.
