According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in NA-170 Bahawalpur-l constituency with 84495 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Saeed Ahmed Khan Manais was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 83895 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate muhammad Aurangzaib Khan Khichi who got 81131 votes.

At least 13 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in NA-170. In 2013 elections, there were 319983 voters registered in NA-170, out of which 203104 votes were polled out.
