Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate SYED MUSTAFA MAHMUD has won NA-178 with 93044 votes.

According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate won in NA-178 Rahim Yar Khan-lV constituency with 93044 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Independent candidate JAMSHED AHMAD DASTI was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 79417 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate MUHAMMAD ABAD who got 63228 votes.

At least 19 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in NA-178. In 2013 elections, there were 349646 voters registered in NA-178, out of which 215737 votes were polled out.
