Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Saif Ur Rehman has won NA-242 with 27333 votes.

Karachi East (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Saif Ur Rehman has won NA-242 with 27333 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in NA-242 Karachi East-l constituency with 27333 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan candidate Mehboob Alam was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 166836 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Akram Khan who got 10889 votes.

At least 9 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in NA-242. In 2013 elections, there were 307684 voters registered in NA-242, out of which 201670 votes were polled out.
