Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Mir Khan Muhammad Jamali has won NA-261 with 45222 votes.

Jafarabad-Cum-Sohbatpur (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Mir Khan Muhammad Jamali has won NA-261 with 45222 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in NA-261 Jafarabad-Cum-Sohbatpur constituency with 45222 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Jamiat Ulama-e-Islam (F) candidate Moulvi Agha Muhammad was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 48712 votes. The second runner up was Pashtoonkhwa Milli Awami Party candidate Muhammad Essa Roshan who got 48188 votes.

At least 17 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in NA-261. In 2013 elections, there were 248179 voters registered in NA-261, out of which 134430 votes were polled out.
