Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Gul Dad khan has won NA-40 with 34616 votes.
Bajaur Agency (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Gul Dad khan has won NA-40 with 34616 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in NA-40 Bajaur Agency-l Tribal Area-l constituency with 34616 votes.
In 2013 general elections, Independent candidate Muhammad Nazir Khan was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 18055 votes. The second runner up was Independent candidate Aurangzeb Khan who got 14794 votes.
At least 34 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in NA-40. In 2013 elections, there were 160666 voters registered in NA-40, out of which 77970 votes were polled out.
In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 48.52 %. Detailed results can be found here
