Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Jawad Hussain has won NA-47 with 11102 votes.

Tribal Area (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Jawad Hussain has won NA-47 with 11102 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in NA-47 Orakzai Agency Tribal Area-Vlll constituency with 11102 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Qaisar Jamal was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 11328 votes. The second runner up was Jamiat Ulama-e-Islam (F) candidate Mufti Abdul Shakoor who got 10240 votes.

At least 36 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in NA-47. In 2013 elections, there were 121265 voters registered in NA-47, out of which 48217 votes were polled out.
