Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal Pakistan candidate Muhammad Jamal Ud Din has won NA-49 with 7794 votes.

South Waziristan Agency (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal Pakistan candidate Muhammad Jamal Ud Din has won NA-49 with 7794 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal Pakistan candidate won in NA-49 South Waziristan Agency-l Tribal Area-X constituency with 7794 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Dr. Tariq Fazal Chudhary was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 94106 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Chudhary Ilyas Meharban who got 57383 votes.

At least 25 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in NA-49. In 2013 elections, there were 334241 voters registered in NA-49, out of which 216008 votes were polled out.

In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 64.36 %. Detailed results can be found here
