NA Defers Agenda To Discuss Political Issues In Requisitioned Session

The National Assembly on Wednesday deferred agenda in the requisitioned session summoned to discuss the political issues in the country especially emerged after the arrest of Opposition Leader Shahbaz Sharif.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Oct, 2018 ) :The National Assembly on Wednesday deferred agenda in the requisitioned session summoned to discuss the political issues in the country especially emerged after the arrest of Opposition Leader Shahbaz Sharif.
Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan moved a motion to defer the agenda which was passed by the House. The agenda included two Calling Attention Notices, laying an authenticated copy of the Address of President and a motion of thanks.
The deferred Calling Attention Notices were regarding removal of encroachments from the land of forest in Islamabad to protect environment and blockage of one million Computerized National Identity Cards of the residents of Orangi Town and the adjacent areas in Karachi.
The House did not take up motion to expresses its deep gratitude to the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan for his address to both Houses assembled together on September 17, 2018.
