NA deputy speaker visits Iqbal Manzil in Sialkot

SIALKOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Jan, 2019 ) ::Deputy Speaker National Assembly Qasim Khan Suri has said that the teachings of Allama Muhammad Iqbal are like a beacon of light to maintain tolerance, peace and stability in society.

He stated this during his visit to the Iqbal Manzil, the birthplace of Allama Iqbal, in Sialkot on Sunday.

Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Youth Affairs Usman Dar and Provincial Minister for Special education Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Akhlaq were also present.

Qasim Suri said that Allama Muhammad Iqbal was a visionary who conceived the idea of a separate homeland for the Muslims of the Subcontinent.

He showed keen interest in the personal items of Allama Iqbal and his rare pictures displayed at the building.
