NA Rejected Minimum Fixation Of Pension At Rs 50,000 Per Month

ISLAMABAD, NOV 22 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Nov, 2016 ) : National Assembly on Tuesday unanimously rejected the minimum fixation of pension at 50,000 per month, which was moved the motion by Parveen Masood Bhatti under the rules 259 that House may discuss the situation arising out of non-fixation of minimum pension of government servant at Rs.50,000 per month.
Parliamentary Secretary of Ministry of Finance Rana Muhammad Afzal has said that it is very difficult for the government to provide the equal pension to all retire employees because after the increase in pension the basic pay must be increase which is impossible.
Rana Muhammad Afzal informed the House that with the passage of time Government revise the pay scale and increase the salaries of government employees and it is impossible to provide equal pension to all retire employees.
He said that government has divided the scales with the nature of job, like bomb disposal, nurses in hospital, teacher, doctors or other departments all are have different jobs and work as per the rules government is providing the incentives.
