NAB Arrests Another Accused In MOCEC Housing Society Corruption Case

National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Rawalpindi has arrested Deputy General Manager Records, Ministry of Commerce Employees Cooperative Housing Society (MOCECHS), Rameez Ahmed on charges of corruption.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Aug, 2018 ) :National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Rawalpindi has arrested Deputy General Manager Records, Ministry of Commerce Employees Cooperative Housing Society (MOCECHS), Rameez Ahmed on charges of corruption.
The accused person in active connivance with others have been found involved in corruption and corrupt practices in allotment of plots, embezzlement of Society's funds, causing billions of rupees losses to members/public at large.
As per details here on Friday, the accused remained involved in manipulation of balloting lists of the Society so as to render illegal gain to allottees.
He also involved in connivance with other accused involved in the transfer of files on basis of fake and bogus documents to the allottees.
The NAB officials produced the accused in Accountability Court Islamabad. The Judge of the Court after accepting the request of NAB Rawalpindi granted 10 days physical remand.
In same case four accused persons namely Rana Ghulam Farid, President of MOCECHS, Syed Amir Hussain Shah, Ex-Vice President/ General Secretary MOCECHS, Mazhar Hussain General Secretary MOCECHS and Muhammad Akram Awan Ex- Executive MemberDevelopment Committee MOCECHS have also been remanded for07 days physical remand to NAB Rawalpindi in corruption case.
