NAB Arrests Water And Power Former Secretary In Rental Power Case

LAHORE- (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News- 19th April 2019) The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has arrested Water and Power former secretary Shahid Rafi in Rental Power Plant corruption case.
A NAB team conducted the raid and arrested the former bureaucrat from his house.
He was detained over conducting illegal deals of rental power costing billions of rupees loss to national kitty, according to NAB insiders.
They added that NAB had filed 11 references of corruption against the former secretary.
The record of the deals and other important documents regarding the cases were also apprehended during the raid. He has been shifted to NAB Rawalpindi bureau and presented before the court for remand on Saturday.
