NAB Held DFO In Illegal Assets Case Worth Rs 28.87 Mln

PESHAWAR (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th july, 2016) : NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Tuesday arrested accused Tauheed-ul-Haq, District Forest Officer (DFO) BPS-18, Haripur Forest Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa allegedly involved in accumulation of illegal assets worth Rs.28.87 million.

A spokesman for NAB said that the Bureau conducted an inquiry into the matter to ascertain the real facts and collect requisite evidence regarding moveable and immoveable properties owned, controlled and possessed by the accused persons in their name and in the name of their dependents. Inquiry is being actively pursued as more alarming facts are on card.

The accused will be presented in the Accountability Court for obtaining his physical remand tomorrow. During the course of inquiry, it revealed that Tauheed-ul-Haq remained posted on different posts in Forest Department i.e.

Range Forest Officer Kohistan, Abbottabad, Peshawar, Swat, UNDP Project Dir, SDFO Mohmand Agency, Bannu, Malakand, DFO Kohistan and Haripur. During his tenure in Forest Department, the accused piled assets worth millions of rupees in his name and in the name of his dependent.

The illegal properties, disproportionate to known sources of income included 12 Kanal Land Moza Azizabad, Charsadda, 19 Plots at Moza Nawa Shehar Shumali, Abbottabad, 200 Sq Ft,Plot Canal Road at Soan Garden, Civilian Employees Cooperative Housing Society, Islamabad, Mini Shop at the Fruit & Vegetable Market, Inqilab Road, Peshawar, 5 Marla Plot, at Budani, Peshawar, 2 Plots at IB Employees Cooperative Housing Society, Islamabad, 2 Precious plots 05 Marla each Safari Valley Rafi Block, Bahria Town, Rawalpindi, 10 Marla Plot, at Budani, Peshawar, 500 Sq-yds, at Ministry of Interior Employees Cooperative Housing Society, Islamabad, Plot at Federal Government Employees Housing Foundation, Islamabad, one Kanal Plot, Col Aman Ullah Road, Moza Kot Hatial, Tehsil & Distt Islamabad, 8 Marla House, Kiyani Road, Bara Kahu, Islamabad, 32 Marla Plot, Moza Mohra Noor, Tehsil & District Islamabad, 2 Precious 05 Marla each plots at Bahria Enclave Islamabad, 3 precious Plots at DHA Islamabad ,10 Marla Plot Bahria Enclave Islamabad, Toyota Assista Model 2007, Toyota Axio Model 2007, Toyota Passo Model 2010 and Suzuki Alto Japanese Model 2007.
