ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Apr, 2019 ) :Spokesperson to the Prime Minister Nadeem Afzal Chan on Tuesday said the national accountability bureau (NAB) was working independently on corruption cases.
The government had no influence on NAB as it was an independent institution, he stated while talking to a private news channel.
In replying to a question about amnesty scheme, Nadeem Afzal Chan said no decision was taken today in the cabinet meeting in this regard as more discussion was needed on the issue.
As far as the money laundering cases of Sharif family was concerned, he said the cases were not filed in PTI's government.
To another question, he said all out efforts were being made to remove all the fears regarding FBR so that any person could approach it without any hesitation.
The value of assets purchased by PML-N leaders through money laundering would be assessed soon, he added.
