NAB To Probe Fake Bank Accounts Cases In 2 Months: Shahzad Akbar

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Jan, 2019 ) :Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Accountability Shahzad Akbar Wednesday said the apex court was given two months time to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) for completing its investigations in fake bank accounts cases.

Talking to a private news channel, he said the Supreme Court's implementation bench would be formed to monitor the investigation and NAB would file references in the light of Para 130 of Joint Investigation Team' report.

The NAB along with the JIT members would continue their investigation into the fake bank accounts, he said.

Replying to a question about the JIT report, he said the court had appreciated the hard work of the JIT members and acknowledged their efforts in the fake banks accounts case.
