ISLAMABAD (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd April, 2019) NAB has written a letter to interior ministry to place name of Alim Khan on ECL.NAB has recommended for placement of PTI leader Aleem Khan name on ECL.
The letter has been written to interior ministry with the approval of chairman NAB Justice (Retd) Javed Iqbal.NAB has taken plea in the letter that investigation in accumulation of assets beyond known source of income and off shore companies cases are running against Aleem Khan who is on judicial remand till April 30.
Aleem Khan name be placed on ECL to prevent him from going abroad.
It is pertinent to mention here Aleem Khan is in the custody of NAB since February 6. NAB had arrested the then provincial minister for local bodies Aleem Khan in off shore companies scandal and shifted him to NAB jail.NAB had asked questions about 5 off shore companies from Aleem Khan who could give replies of 3 out of 18 questions.
NAB arrested Aleem Khan due to his unsatisfactory replies.DG NAB had said that Aleem Khan was arrested for not giving satisfactory replies.
