National Action Plan Gears Up In Mirpur Division

MIRPUR (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 06th Oct, 2016 ) , (APP): The district authorities of all the three districts of Mirpur division Kotli, Bhimber and Mirpur have been directed to ensure complete implementation of National Action Plan (NAP) in letter and spirit in line with the policy of the government.
This was stated in a high level meeting of the Regional Committee of National Action Plan chaired by Commissioner Mirpur Division Raja Amjad Pervez Ali Khan here on Thursday. Senior civil and military officials including, Deputy Commissioners, Superintendents Police of all the three districts besides Civil Defense Department and other related institutions attended the meeting.
Addressing the meeting the Divisional Commissioner Raja Amjad Pervez Ali Khan directed the District Administrations, Police and District Information Officers of all the three districts of Mirpur, Kotli and Bhimber in the division to ensure the complete implementation of the NAP in letter and spirit in line with the stipulated strict policy of the government.
The meeting also reviewed the implementation of the National Action Plan in the division. At the same time, local authorities have directed the Afghan refugees to leave the jurisdictions of all the three districts of Mirpur division including Mirpur, Kotli and Bhimbher districts in all circumstances without waiting for any further extension in their (Afghan refugees) registration cards of residence by the concerned authorities.
The Commissioner warned the district authorities that Deputy Commissioner and SP of the concerned district would be held responsible if any unlawful Afghan national or any other illegal resident was found living in the jurisdiction of their district.
