National Anthem In Schools' Assembly Is A Must: Jam Mehtab

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th August, 2016) : Provincial Minister for education Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar has said that it is a must for all educational institutions all over Sindh that the students should sing national anthem in assembly and officers from Education Department should pay regular visits to the schools/colleges to ensure whether they are following the instruction or not. In case of violation, action should be taken against violators, he said while presiding over a meeting here in his office on Wednesday.
Secretary Education Syed Mumtaz Ali Shah, Special Secretary Dr. Mansoor Rizvi and Director P&D Mazhar Siddiqui also attended the meeting. The Minister for Education directed to celebrate Roshan Pakistan -Independence Day Art Competition in an effective manner.
Participation of the students from public and private sector schools must be ensured so that the talent of the students might be brought on the surface.
He added that Chief Minister Sindh is taking keen interest in this Art Competition and CM Sindh will reward the winners of the competition with appreciation letters and cash prizes from his own pocket'.
The Minister stated that the central ceremony of Art Competition would be held on 13th August in Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi and Chief Minister Sindh would be chief guest in the ceremony.
