National Assembly-103,PP-103 ready for contest between PTI,PML-N candidates

The national assembly's constituency NA-103 (Faisalabad-3), and provincial assembly's constituency PP-103 (Faisalabad-7) are ready for a contest between PTI and PML-N candidates in the by-election on Sunday (October 14).

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Oct, 2018 ) :The national assembly's constituency NA-103 (Faisalabad-3), and provincial assembly's constituency PP-103 (Faisalabad-7) are ready for a contest between PTI and PML-N candidates in the by-election on Sunday (October 14).

According to an Elections Commission's spokesman, there are total 437,460 registered voters, including 248,910 males and 188,550 females, in NA-103.

In thE constituency, 389 polling stations were established, including 122 stations for males, 119 for females and 148 combined stations while 1,063 polling booths, including 594 for males and 469 for females, have also been setup.

As many as 13 candidates are in the run for the seat of this NA constituency. The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf awarded ticket to Muhammad Saadullah while the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has fielded Ali Gohar Khan.

The Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarian (PPPP) awarded ticket to Shahadat Ali Khan while Manzoor Hussain of Tehreek Labiak Pakistan (TLP), Muhammad Saddiq of Allah-o-Akbar Tehreek, Ahsan Riaz of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Nazriati and seven independent candidates, including Mian Manzoor Ahmad Khan Watoo, Mohammad Khan Nadeem, Rai Imtiaz Ahmad, Rai Ejaz Hasan, Zulfiqar Ali, Ahsan Raza and a lady candidate Surriya Naseem are also contesting by-elections from this constituency.

In PP-103, as many as 20 candidates are contesting the elections but according to survey the actual contest is between PTI candidate Shamshair Haidar and PML-N candidate Jaffar Ali.

There are total 210,034 registered voters, including 1,19,583 males and 90,451 females, in PP-103.

In this constituency, 189 polling stations were established, including 58 stations for males, 55 for females and 76 combined stations while 510 polling booths, including 285 for males and 225 for females have also been set up.
