National Highway Authority (NHA) Starts Vehicles Auction Under Austerity Campaign

National Highway Authority (NHA) has started process of selling its 24 vehicles through open auction at the regional office here on Monday.

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Oct, 2018 ) :National Highway Authority (NHA) has started process of selling its 24 vehicles through open auction at the regional office here on Monday.

According to the sources, the selling of the vehicles including Prado, GLIs, Land-Cruisers, Alto, Jimmy, Bolan and others through auction was being done under the government's campaign of austerity in line with the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

NHA would auction about 219 vehicles at all its offices in the country during the process which will continue till November 05.

After Lahore, more vehicles will be auctioned at Multan, Sukkur, Quetta, Karachi and Gilgit-Baltistan.

The NHA had already sold 62 vehicles at Islamabad, 15 at Peshawar and 9 vehicles at Abbotabad.
