Nawab Laghari Missing Case: Law Enforcement Agencies Granted Time

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Jun, 2017 ) : Islamabad High Court (IHC) Friday granted time to two law enforcement agencies till July 12, to submit their reply in kidnapping case of former Sindh government advisor Nawab Ali Laghari.

Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani of IHC heard the case filed by the wife of Mr. Laghari.

During the course of proceeding, Director Defense Ministry appeared before the bench and requested to grant time to submit reply in missing case of former Sindh government advisor.

The petitioner had stated in her plea that law enforcement agencies had taken insufficient measures to recover his husband who was kidnapped from Federal capital's jurisdiction. The police had failed to find Nawab Ali Laghari, he added.

The bench remarked that law enforcement agencies of the country should work honestly to address the issues of public. The court, however, adjourned the case till July 12.
