Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 22nd September, 2018) Following his release from Adiala Jail, former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has decided to look into the reasons of the party’s defeat in the general elections.
According to media reports, Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz have taken notice of the weak election campaign and party’s poor performance in the elections.
According to reliable sources, Nawaz Sharif has also questioned PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif over party’s defeat.
Not only that, he has also asked Shehbaz to answer about his weak policies since elections.
Sources said that Nawaz is quite upset over the defeat of some ticket holders of the PML-N. These include Shahid Khaqan Abbasi from NA-57, Khawaja Saad Rafique of NA-131, Abid Sher Ali of NA-108 and Danial Chaudhry of NA-62.
He said that the defeat of these candidates does not make sense.
The father-daughter duo are now concentrating on the by-election and have decided to run the election campaign themselves.
