Naya Pakistan Housing A Big Initiative Of PM Imran For Low-income People, Says Syed Fakhar Imam

KHANEWAL, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th May, 2021 ) :Federal minister for national food security Syed Fakhar Imam unveiled a plaque on behalf of Prime Minister Imran Khan in Khanewal under Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme and declared it the biggest housing initiative in history of the country to make low-income people owners of homes.
Affordable housing projects were launched by Prime Minister Imran Khan at 10 points in nine districts simultaneously via video link to provide 3.5-marla housing units to low-income people at an extremely low price of Rs 1.4 million, subsidized by Rs 300,000 per unit.
Banks would provide loans to the purchasers at a low mark up of 3 per cent and installment would be only Rs 10,000 per month.
Poor homeless people would soon be owners of their house, Fakhar Imam told media persons after the ceremony. He said that Prime Minister Imran Khan was making the own-home dream of poor people achievable.
An area of 38 Kanal and 47 Marla has been allocated at Makhdoompur road near Lahore More in Khanewal.
Deputy commissioner Agha Zaheer Abbas Sherazi, DPO Muhammad Ali Waseem, MPAs Dr. Syed Khawar Ali Shah, and Hamid Yar Haraj, PTI leaders and workers, lawyers besides other officials attended the ceremony.
Minister for national food security also planted a sapling in line with PM's clean and green Pakistan initiative.
