National Highway Authority (NHA) has planned to spend Rs 17,423 million for construction of road from Chakdara to Chitral in three sections
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Apr, 2019 ) :National Highway Authority (NHA) has planned to spend Rs 17,423 million for construction of road from Chakdara to Chitral in three sections.
The three sections include 38.85 km Chakdara - Timargarah Section, 43.39 km Akhagram -Dir Section and 47.98 km Kalkatak - Chitral Section.
An official of NHA told APP on Wednesday that allocations in the budget for the three sections during past four fiscal years included Rs. 1000.000 Million in 2015-16, Rs 1750.000 million in 2016-17,Rs 950.000 Million in 2017-18,Rs 542.149 Million in 2018-19 for the projects.
He said that Chakdara-Shandur road via Chitral under CPEC project had been approved by ECNEC. Three separate PC-1 have been approved for improvement and widening of 130.22 km of Nowsehra-Chitral Highway (N-45) .
