NIM's delegation visits Faisalabad

The group of 22 participants of Senior Management Course (SMC) in National Institute of Management (NIM) Peshawar reached at Faisalabad on study tour

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Apr, 2019 ) :The group of 22 participants of Senior Management Course (SMC) in National Institute of Management (NIM) Peshawar reached at Faisalabad on study tour.

They visited the Commissioner Office and participated in a briefing session.

Divisional Commissioner Javed Mehmud Bhatti, RPO Ghulam Mehmud Dogar, Deputy Commissioner Sardar Saifullah Dogar, CPO Ashfaq Ahmad Khan briefed them regarding the historical and geographical aspects of the Faisalabad Division including law & order situation, development activities and the projects of public relief & welfare.

Divisional Commissioner Javed Mehmud Bhatti welcomed the officers of Senior Management Course and informed them about the administrative set up of divisional and district administration.

He said that Faisalabad being a second largest city of Punjab province and prominent status in industry, trade & commerce and agriculture sectors.

He informed that 250 development schemes at a cost of Rs 2.30 billion had been proposed in the division for providing ample facilities to the public in education, communications, drainage & water supply sectors under community development programme of the govt.

He said that 759 uplift schemes were being completed in the division with the funds of Rs 5.24 billion under Provincial Annual Development Programme.

He claimed that best working relationship among the divisional, district, police administrations and other institutions had been existed in this division which helped better service delivery through complete harmony and mutual cooperation.

RPO Ghulam Mehmud Dogar informed during the briefing session that effective and solid measures were being taken for maintaining the peaceful environment and controlling the crimes despite the limited resources.

Highlighting the strategy of the security on religious gatherings, national and religious days, he expressed his pleasure over the appreciable role of peace committees.

Deputy Commissioner Sardar Saifullah Dogar apprised the officers of the issues of district Faisalabad including problems and environmental hazards.

He informed that mega projects of water supply was being initiated at a cost of Rs.15 billion for providing the clean drinking water to the rest of the population of the city.

He said that planning had also been completed for the mega project of waste water treatment.

CPO Ashfaq Ahmad Khan informed that the district police had taken measures on scientific lines to protect the lives and properties of the citizens and said that the district police was committed to meet with the challenges of law & order and crimes control.

Training officer/Group Leader Arshad Ali Shah thanked the divisional and district administrations for best hospitality and said that the details of the briefing would be helpful for the trainee officers.

On this occasion the souvenirs were also exchanged between the Divisional Commissioner and Group Leader of the officers of Senior Management Course.
