No Congo Virus Case Reported In District

The Livestock and Dairy Development Department has completed all arrangements to counter Congo virus threat to sacrificial animals.

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Aug, 2017 ) : The Livestock and Dairy Development Department has completed all arrangements to counter Congo virus threat to sacrificial animals. It has set up posts at all entry and exit points across the district,said Deputy Director Livestock and Dairy Development Dr Tanveer while talking to APP here Thursday.

He said that checking of Congo virus was being ensured at all entry points of the district including Sillanwali road, Faisdalabad road and Sial Mor. No case of Congo virus had been reported in this district so far, he added. He said that the sale of animals beyond allocated points was illegal and strict action would be taken against the violators.
