No Kidnappings In Multan: CPO

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th August, 2016) : CPO Muhammad Azhar Akram said on Saturday that no kidnapping of children had occurred in the city as yet, asking the people not to take the law into their hands. At a press conference, arranged in his office here, he appealed to the citizens to report any suspected case to their respective police stations.
He said about 82 calls about kidnapping were received in the current month.
Ten of the 82 suspects were severely tortured, he said. However, he said that not even a single case was proven until now.
