Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th April, 2019) Chairman of Pakistan People's Party BIlawal Bhutto Zardari has said that presidential form of government is running successfully in USA only but some plotters and non elected elements want to bring one unit and presidential system by abolishing 18th amendment .He was speaking to a media after a function at Asma Jahangir Forum here on Friday.
He said that only Pakistani nation is a final umpire and they only want democracy. He said that the law regarding accountability was made by a dictator for taking political revenge only. The generals and judges who are getting salary from national exchequer should also be accountable."The government took controversial step by distributing funds to MNAs and MPAs from the amount allocated for CPEC project.
It is hoped that government would take forward CPEC as all the previous governments did and no compromise would be made on it and the project should be completed at any cost ", he added. He strongly criticized the present government by saying that PTI did nothing except taking "U-turns".
The government could not get passed even a single bill from the national assembly. Actually they are not interested in running the parliament and even country. He said that the speech of Akhtar Mangal was blacked out but PPP accept his point of view. The difficulties of Balochistan are in fact the problems of Pakistan. Referendum would be illicit step .
