Number of returning Afghan refugees increased

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -6th Sept,2016) : The number of refugees returning to their homes has surprisingly increased during the past few weeks. Though the majority of Afghan refugees here are largely to go back to their country after staying for decades in Pakistan.

According to a private news channel, the number of returning Afghan refugees has increased ahead of the deadline given by government. December 30 is the deadline set for the registered refugees to return to their homeland.

According to Federal Minister for States and Frontier Regions (SAFRON) Lt Gen (r) Abdul Qadir Baloch, the government will avoid using force against the refugees as Islamabad does not want to annoy those it served for over three decades. The government will try to send them back peacefully and in a friendly environment.
