NUML Arranged Closing Ceremony Of Laptop Distribution

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Nov, 2016 ) : National University of Modern Languages (NUML) Tuesday arranged a closing ceremony of laptop distribution for the students under the Prime Minister's Youth Programme, Phase-II.
Senator, Ms. Nuzhat Sadiq was the chief guest of the ceremony while Rector NUML Major General Zia Ud Din Najam (Retd), Advisor Higher education Commission (HEC) Wasim Hashmi, Director General NUML Brig Riaz Ahmed Gondal, other officials and a large number of students were also present on the occasion.
Addressing on the occasion, Senator Ms. Nuzhat Sadiq said that government is fully aware of the importance of the educated youth and committed to equip them with modern day's technologies. She said that "youth is our asset and nation have full confidence in youth".
She said that Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is committed to support youth of the country and Prime Minister's laptop scheme is the part of PM's vision for uplift of youth. Earlier, Rector NUML Major General Zia ud Din Najam (Retd) in his address said that PM laptop scheme was a great initiative of the government to give laptops to the students.
He said that we are lagging behind in information technology sector as compared with the rest of the world and it is duty of our youth to take advantages of the facilities provided by the government.
Rector said that the youth is the real asset of the country and future of Pakistan lies in the hands of young generation as today's youth will lead the country in future and a great responsibility lies on their shoulder.
