Nurses Protest Enters Second Day In Karachi

A sit-in of nurses belonging to various government hospitals from across the province entered its second day on Tuesday outside Karachi Press Club for acceptance of their demands from the Sindh Government.
KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Oct, 2018 ) :A sit-in of nurses belonging to various government hospitals from across the province entered its second day on Tuesday outside Karachi Press Club for acceptance of their demands from the Sindh Government.
The nurses warned to gather outside Chief Minister House in case of non-acceptance of their 10 demands till Wednesday. Their demands include provision of health professional allowance, fixation of nursing students stipend, establishment of nursing university, recruitment of 14000 new nurses and others.
The protest was organized by the Joint Nurses Action Committee (JNAC). The protest gravely affected the public hospitals across Sindhcausing difficulties for the patients.
