Nuturing students in light of Islamic teachings core priority of

ISLAMABAD,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -5th Sep,2016) : President International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh said that nurturing the students in the light of Islamic teachings is core priority of the university.

He was addressing the newly inducted students of the Faculty of Management Sciences (FMS) on Monday, said a press release here. "IIUI is an exemplary seat of learning which has credit to produce great Names and it is focusing with full zest to nurture the bright young minds of Muslim Ummah in the light of Islam's teachings" he added.

The President IIUI further said that IIUI is working to produce balanced and harmonious personalities who acquire quality education at university integrated with teachings of islam. Introducing the varsity to the new students, Dr.

Al-Draiweesh said that internationalization, knowledge of Islamic teachings and dissemination of peace across the world are basic objectives of IIUI. He told that university has so far produced 38604 graduates in its 36 years of existence who are playing their vital roles in various societies and communities around the world.

Dr. Muhammad Bashir Khan, Vice President (Academics), Dr. Zulfiqar Ali Shah, Deputy Dean FMS and Syed Adnan Shabbir, Chairman Marketing Department also spoke on the occasion. Meanwhile, Dr. Al-Draiweesh also visited recently constructed Dar Al-Muneera (Centre for memorization of the Holy Quran and teaching its sciences).

He lauded the timely completion of the centre and also told that it has been donated by a member of the varsity's board of Governors, Dr. Hamood Al-Zeeb which is completed in short period of just 15 months.

The IIUI President also announced that Dar Al-Muneera would be formally inaugurated after Eid ul Adha by its founder. Deputy Dean Faculty of Usuludin, Dr. Haroon ur Rasheed, Director Female Campus, Dr. Samina Malik, Advisor Projects and Planning, Muhammad Ashraf and Additional Director Amir Ishtiaq were also present on the occasion.
