According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, at 59%, the majority of Pakistanis believe that acquiring a permit or a license is only possible by means of bribery and connections
Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Feb, 2019) According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, at 59%, the majority of Pakistanis believe that acquiring a permit or a license is only possible by means of bribery and connections.
A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “Please tell us whether you consider the following statement to be right or wrong: permits and licenses can only be obtained through bribes or personal contacts?” In response to this question, 59% said it was right, 33% said it was wrong, while 8% did not know or did not wish to respond.
