Octogenarian's Plea For Payment Of Double Pension, Arrears

HAFIZABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th May, 2018 ) ::An 82-year-old pensioner of Municipal Committee Hafizabad has protested against non-payment of arrears and double pension according to the rules.
He has requested the local bodies authorities to provide him justice and ensure early payment of his arrears and double pension.
According to Riasat Ali, a retired superintendent of Municipal Committee, Hafizabad, the Punjab government had announced that all pensioners above 75-year-old would be paid double pension from July 2015.
However, despite re-fixation of his pension, the municipal committee was not giving him double pension. He has called upon the deputy commissioner and officers concerned of the Local Government Department to take action and give him his right. APP/ryw/rsd
