OICC Session Concludes In Djibouti

The 32nd session of Administrative Council of Organization of Islamic Capitals and Cities (OICC) and Cooperation Fund concluded in Djibouti.
The Mayor further informed that Islamabad Metropolitan Corporation was made member of Financial and Administrative Committee during the 32nd session.
The committee will comprise upon representatives of municipalities of Oman, Holy City Makah, Musqat, Ankara, Djibouti and OICC Secretariat.
He said during the session, it was decided that city of Kashan, Islamic Republic of Iran, city of Khan Younis, State of Palestine and Nganha Municipality, Republic of Cameron to give the OICC's membership as active members into effect by 2019.
Shiekh Anser Aziz said that participation in the session of Administrative Council, OICC and Cooperation Fund would help make Islamabad a model city by utilizing expertise of the cities participated in the session.
He said by ensuring mutual coordination between the municipalities of Islamic cities not only the new eras ofthe development can be explored but also the council can be more effective.
