On Use Of Atomic Weapons: 3 In 5 (60%) Pakistanis Oppose First Strike In A Nuclear Engagement With India

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan on the issue of India-Pakistan relations post Pulwama Attack, 3 in 5 (60%) Pakistanis oppose first strike in a nuclear engagement with India
Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Mar, 2019) According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan on the issue of India-Pakistan relations post Pulwama Attack, 3 in 5 (60%) Pakistanis oppose first strike in a nuclear engagement with India.
A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “Should Pakistan initiate the use of its atomic weapons while at war with India?” In response to this question, 28% said that Pakistan should initiate while 60% said it should not initiate the use of atomic weapons while at war with India. 12% did not know or did not wish to respond
