One Killed, Another Injured In Firing In Islamabad

At least one person was killed and another injured in firing on a car here in the federal capital on Wednesday. Police said that armed men opened indiscriminate fire at the car of rival in the jurisdiction of Sabzi Mandi police station in Sector I-11, near Pirwadhai, Islamabad
Islamabad, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Feb, 2018) : At least one person was killed and another injured in firing on a car here in the Federal capital on Wednesday. Police said that armed men opened indiscriminate fire at the car of rival in the jurisdiction of Sabzi Mandi police station in Sector I-11, near Pirwadhai, Islamabad.
As a result of firing one person was killed on the spot while another was critically injured. The attackers fled the scene and the body and injured were shifted to hospital for medico-legal formalities.
Police said that the attack was outcome of personal enmity. A case has been registered against the assailants and raids were being conducted for their arrest. Sabzi Mandi in Islamabad has remained the centre of all types of illegal activities in the past including bomb blasts, killings and extortion.
The main reason is that it is hub of business activity for 24 hour where people mostly from Punjab, Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa and Afghan refugees are seen doing business and labour job and criminals melt with them easily.
