Open Courts Being Held To Facilitate Consumers

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Apr, 2019 ) :Open courts are being held in Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) region to redress the grievances of the consumers.
According to LESCO sources here on Saturday, the purpose of holding these open courts was to immediately redress the grievances of consumers related to electricity bills and other matters.
LESCO Chief Executive Mujahid Pervaiz Chatta said open courts were being held in eight circles of LESCO.
An open court was held at Rana Town Sub division which was chaired by SE Muhammad Naeem.
Muhammad Naeem as per the direction of Mujahid Pervaiz Chatta immediately resolved the grievances of the consumers related to electricity bills and heard other problems of the complainants.
Out of 16 received complaints 9 were resolved on immediate basis while the relevant officers were directed to resolve the complaints related to meters and Low Tension (LT) lines on early basis.
Consumers who visited the open courts appreciated this effort of LESCO and hoped that it would continue its efforts to facilitate consumers.
