The Town-I administration started crackdown against encroachments in different areas of the city by bulldozing several illegally built cabins
PESHAWAR, Sept 12 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Sep, 2017 ) : The Town-I administration started crackdown against encroachments in different areas of the city by bulldozing several illegally built cabins.
On the directives of Town-I Nazim Zahid Nadeem, Tehsil Officer Revenue (TOR), Riaz Awan, Assistant Tehsil Officer Revenue (ATOR) Ayaz Durrani, Tax Superintendent Azhar Ali Shah and Chief Demolishing Inspector, Fazal Mehmood along with relevant officials and local police, removed several illegally built cabins and other structures in Bacha Khan Chowk and opened both sides of the roads for traffic.
The Town-I administration also seized computers monitors from 10 shopkeepers, who were making illegal business on roadside of Jalil Kabapi Road.
The computers cabins shops were illegally built on footpath, which were creating a lot of problems for pedestrians and motorists while going from Firdus, Hasthnagri to Charsadda Road.
Meanwhile, the town administration also seized old rubber tyres at Namak Mandi upon violations of section 144 CrpC. Nazim Town-I, Zahid Nadeem said encroachments in these areas were creating obstruction in smooth flow of traffic and the administration was left with no option except its removal.
