Opposition Employing Pressure Tactics On Govt Under Specific Agenda: Nadeem Chan

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Jan, 2019 ) :Spokesperson of the Prime Minister Nadeem Afzal Chan has said opposition parties were apparently employing different tactics and working on a special agenda to hamper the accountability process in the country.

He said they are building pressure on the government as opposition wanted to get rid of the accountability process.

Talking to a private news channel, he said Pakistan Tehreek-Insaf's government was the sole regime that believed in across-the-board accountability and was looking at the national issues including opposition parties' matters, in a democratic way.

"If the opposition parties will gather for solving the public issues, then definitely the government will stand with them at any forum", he said.

Responding to a question regarding National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) he said,"it is very clear who is asking for NRO and from whom." He said Prime Minister Imran Khan's stance over NRO was obvious, "Therefore I will not comment on the issue".

He said: "The leadership of the PTI has always advised the party members to avoid immoral reactions at any platform and to comment over rumours." He dispelled the false assertions of opposition regarding Governor rule in Sindh and removal of its Chief Minister.

Criticizing previous regimes, he said the worse condition of specific departmentsincluding PIA, Railways and Steel Mills did indicate their performance.
