Lahore, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st May, 2019) Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar said that 'opposition is neither united nor it will be.He said the PTI is not afraid of their agitation threats.

It does not matter whether the opposition believes or not, Imran khan is the Prime minister of Pakistan and Pakistani people have elected them for five years.Approximately 70pc of "Kartarpur corridor" plan has been accomplished and 1,493 acres of land has been acquired for Gurdwaar Kartarpur complex, he said.We urge India to quit its anti-Pakistani policies and should complete their part of the Kartarpur corridor.To participate in the 550th birth celebrations of Baba Gurunanak, on 15th September, a bus convoy will start its journey from Toronto by the name "Journey to Kartarpur" which will pass through nine countries and will reach Kartarpur after forty days.He said this while he was talking to a press conference at Governor House with Syed Meyo, Amir Khan from Toronto, Sardar Giyan Gobind Singh, Bishan Singh and Amjad islam Amjad.Sarwar said that we are firstly focusing more on Sikh religious sites to promote religious tourism.

Security arrangements regarding 550th birth celebrations of Baba Gurunanak in November are being completed rapidly.He said that he had also met with Interior Minister Brig. Ret. Ijaz Shah and would meet Foreign Minister very soon to discuss these matters in detail.The government will take emergency steps to solve the problems of Visa and double entry visa of Sikh Pilgrimage.

If we become successful in promoting religious tourism in Pakistan it will add 4-5 billion Dollars annually to Pakistani revenue.He said that Today, Turkey is earning more than 40 Billion dollars annually from tourism and I believe that under the leadership of PM Imran Khan, Pakistan will make its mark in promoting its tourist industry.

He further said that "Kartarpur Corridor" project is being completed rapidly and all necessary steps are being taken to ensure its fool proof security.We therefore, expect from India, they will also follow our lead and will complete the remaining part of Kartarpur corridor on their side so that it opens for Sikh Pilgrimage as soon as possible.

He also said that it is for the first time in history that a bus convoy will start its journey in September by the name "Journey to kartarpur" to exhibit their love for minorities.This bus convoy will pass through various European countries and will take almost 40 days to reach Kartarpur on the 550th birth anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak.

The purpose of this journey will be to tell the whole world that Pakistan is a peaceful country and wants peace not only in the region but also around the globe and is protectorate of the minorities living within, thereby providing their fundamental human rights.

People will welcome this bus convey wherever it passes from.In an answer to a question, Governor Punjab Ch. Muhammad Sarwar said that the opposition is not united at all that is why they have claimed to agitate separately and have not come with a joint strategy so far.

People have given mandate to PTI and the government of PM Imran khan will complete its constitutional term of 5 years and if PTI comes up to the expectations of people by implementing its manifesto in letter and spirit, It will be for sure that the next government would also be of PTI.During the press conference Syed Meyo ,Amir Khan from Toronto said that the steps taken by Pakistani Side regarding completion of Kartarpur Corridor and provision of the required security arrangements are unprecedented in history and in that light we also expect from India to reciprocate the same response in order to bring peace, stability and prosperity in the region.The services rendered by PM Imran khan and Muhammad Sarwar Regarding Kartarpur corridor are really appreciable.

Our convoy will also include international media personnel and we will give message of peace to the whole world through this journey and will tell them that minorities are fully protected in Pakistan and their rights and interests are fully safeguarded.
