ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Jan, 2019 ) :Minister for Water Resources Faisal Vawda Monday said the Opposition was scared from the performance and prudent policies of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government. When PTI government came into power, the country was confronting number of challenges but Prime Minister Imran Khan had eliminated the entire crisis to move the country on track of development, he said talking to a private news channel.
The minister said the previous government of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz had badly damaged the national institutions. He said the PTI government did not believe in politics of revenge and never used derogatory language against opponents.
He said PML-N Member National Assembly Shahid Khaqan Abbasi had used un-parliamentary language against him in the Parliament.
To a query, he said National Accountability Bureau (NAB) was an independent institution, which was effectively investigating the corruption cases. The Prime Minister had adopted zero tolerance policy on corruption, he added.
Faisal Vawda said the Opposition Leader in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif was a corrupt leader, who was involved in many corruption cases. Not a single case of corruption was reported against the PTI government during the ongoing tenure, he claimed.
